Life in Ministry
What I do in ministry
At the Base
living out our values
I live and work in a 400 year old Châtuea that was completely provided by God through a gift. There we want to created a healthy community of Christians supporting, disciplining and helping each other live out our faith.  We also do all our ministries out of 5 core values.  If you would like to know more about those click the button below.
In Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort
Local ministry
What my ministries in town look like can very depending on what my work load is and the time of the year. I enjoying serving the people of Saint- Hippo by doing English conversations and lessons several times a week as well as evangelism, public worship, intersection, and in bringing the spirit of God.
In France
Loving our host nation
France is a very unique country and hold a special place in my heart. My long term calling is to France. The French love their language. One of the most important things in my ministry is to learn and become fluent in French.  Now I am just barely conversational but I am making it a priority to learn more daily (Summer 2017) I also regularly lift the country up in prayer and minister to its people.
Ministries I am a part of
As seen in the 'about' section of the website my calling is three fold in : discipline the body, making new disciples, and bringing justice. That can look different than what you might think, so here is just a brief description of some of my roles.
Teams Team
We get the opportunity to host and disciple several teams of short term missionaries, and other YWAM teams each year. The teams team manages all aspects of that process from planning, schedules, pick ups from airports, pastoral care for leadership, orientation, accompanying the teams to ministries, welcoming, and  solving any problems the team during their stay.
Justice Acts France
Justice Acts France is a Anti- Human trafficking ministry in the process of being re-structured. Right now I am prepping research projects, presentations, and other media sources that can be used for prevention and awareness.

Le Café
Part of the calling of our base is to be a  place of community. To do this we felt it would be important to have a place where people can meet and talk quietly or have some quiet time. My role is to manage this cafe.
DTS Staff
I staff the One Thing DTS (Discipleship Training School)Â from Sept. -March. I come along side the students in the school and help them in their growing process as well as teach, plan and lead a 3 month international outreach, and make sure they all get back.
Intersession team leader
One of our core values as a base is to fight in the spirit through prayer and intersession. I lead our intersession times as a base.
Practical Work
I live in community and that means I have to chip in to make sure things are kept in order.  What that means is I wash dishes, do repairs, cook, and clean
English Ministry/ Town outreach
I love Siant-Hippo and part of that love is a desire to see the love of Jesus hit the streets. The two main ways I do this are through English classes or English (practice) conversations opportunities for the locals. I also take part in our weekly outreaches to the town each Friday. This can look many different ways but is always an actively trying to effect our town for Christ.
